The Manufacturers? Association for Information Technology (MAIT) has announced its new leadership team for 2012-13. J V Ramamurthy, president, HCL Infosystems Limited is its new president, while Amar Babu, managing director, Lenevo has been selected as vice president.
Delineating MAIT?s roadmap for the coming year, Ramamurthy said ?It gives me immense pleasure and pride to be a part of the leadership team of this great Association. In the year ahead, MAIT would continue to play a pivotal role in the growth of the Industry and focus on enhancing visibility and relevance in matters like policy advisory and research. MAIT would also work very closely with the government, industry and other stakeholders including other Industry bodies to raise the profile of the industry; influence the environment in which the members operate and increase the benefits of membership?.
