Mahindra Comviva has partnered with the Gabon-based telecom operator, Gabon Telecom to offer mobile money services ?Mobi Cash? to the latter?s subscribers.
As part of the agreement, Mahindra Comviva will also offer Gabon Telecom the mobiquity mobile financial and messaging solution – USSD Flares, to help the operator enchance customer experience.
Mahindra Comviva?s mobiquity solution will provide Gabon Telecom subscribers with multi-functional and secure account, which can be used to make domestic remittance, salary disbursements, and last mile financial services including cash in and cash out. It will also allow subscribers to make utility bill payments such as post paid, electricity, water as well as recharge their mobile phones. Using the solution, customers will be able to make over-the-counter payments at merchants such as grocery stores, restaurants and chemists.
