Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has floated a tender for the supply, installation and commissioning of 200,000 GSM lines (both 2G and 3G) for Mahanagar Telephone (Mauritius) Limited. The project is split into two phases ?? the first phase comprising 100,000 2G lines, and the second comprising 50,000 2G and 3G lines each. In a related development, MTNL has also floated a tender for the deployment of femtocell technology on its 3G network in the Delhi circle.
