Singapore-based service provider M1 has signed a 3G and network overhaul deal with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN).
The operator is upgrading its network to offer its subscribers enhanced voice and data services. As part of the agreement, NSN will deploy its liquid core platform and radio network to help M1 expand its 3G network.
Further NSN will provide the operator its subscriber data management platform including new technology home location register (NT-HLR) and one-NDS subscriber data management system for a centralised database repository independent of the application used.
