L&T Semiconductor Technologies has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government-supported Centre for Development of Advanced Computing to collaborate on developing domestic chip technology and the surrounding ecosystem.
This MoU will establish a comprehensive framework for joint research, development, and training initiatives. It will focus on creating ‘Make-in-India’ solutions for integrated circuits (IC), system-on-chip (SoC), and electronics system design & manufacturing (ESDM) tailored for automotive, industrial, and energy sectors.
The strategic partnership aims to promote indigenisation efforts and leverage the combined expertise of both organisations to accelerate innovation and technological progress in areas of shared interest. It also lays the roadmap for India to catapult itself to the top in terms of semiconductor production.
