Loop Mobile has announced that it has invested Rs 2 billion in upgrading its network in the Mumbai circle, including the addition of 1,200 cell sites as well as deployment of in-building solutions on its network.

Loop Mobile has announced that it has invested Rs 2 billion in upgrading its network in the Mumbai circle, including the addition of 1,200 cell sites as well as deployment of in-building solutions on its network. According to Loop Mobile, it is the first such network in Mumbai with a reduced carbon footprint. The company is currently in the process of installing the next-generation software defined radio multi-mode solution, which is expected to be implemented by mid-2010.
