Lava Mobiles has launched the new XOLO 8X-1000 powered with the simultaneously introduced HIVE UI which operates on the Android 4.4 Kitkat. The smartphone is priced at Rs 13,999 and will be available in India from mid-August 2014.
Xolo 8X-1000 has a five inch 720p display of 294ppi and is powered by octacore 1.4 GHz processor. The front glass panel of the phone is made of ASAHI Dragontrail glass while the backside has Corning’s Gorilla Glass. It features 8MP Sony Exmor rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Mediatek MT6592M chipset, 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB of internal memory.
Also, the newly introduced HIVE UI comes with two exclusive applications called Connect and Edge. Connect will allow users to access the software development team and report bugs. It will also allow the users to share ideas with the team. Edge will allow selection of new themes, ringtones and wallpapers from Indian designers and also create new content themselves.
