Lava has launched its new budget smartphone, the Iris 414, at a price of Rs. 4,049.

The Lava Iris 414 is a dual-SIM device which runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box operating system. It features a 4-inch (480×800 pixels) WVGA TFT display, and is powered by a 1 GHz single-core processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with 4 GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable to 32 GB through a microSD card. It features a 3.2-megapixel rear fixed-focus camera with LED flash and a secondary 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

On the connectivity front, the Lava Iris 414 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone is powered through a 1400 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 12 hours of talk time and up to 126 hours of standby time on 2G networks. The smartphone measures 120 x 63.4 x 10.4 mm, weighs 110 grams and is available in Black colour.
