Keysight Technologies has unveiled the Keysight N9048B PXE Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) receiver. The receiver enables high sensitivity measurements and diagnostics for faster electromagnetic compliance (EMC) certification. Keysight’s N9048B PXE EMI receiver enables independent compliance test laboratories and companies with in-house self-certification labs to make radiated and conducted emissions tests, which, in turn, certify that a product meets the local regulatory compliance standards.

The N9048B PXE EMI receiver comes in three frequency ranges up to 26.5 GHz and delivers:

  • Sensitivity performance, which allows detection of small signals close to the noise level, common in radiated emissions measurements.
  • Full compliance with CISPR 16-1-1 and MIL-STD-461 international standards, ensuring that devices comply with worldwide standards.
  • Time domain scan capability, enabling users to meet dwell measurement requirements, while reducing receiver scan and test time.
  • Multi-touch user interface and EMC measurement application software focused for ease of use.

Keysight Technologies has also launched a new cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) and advanced automotive Ethernet solution to meet the evolving industry standards and ensure interoperability among components. Keysight’s C-V2X toolset is the only solution that can track the evolving C-V2X standard in terms of RF, protocol, and application-layer testing. Its future-proof 5G New Radio V2X platform, based on the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), Release 16 specifications, protects investments and accelerates deployment of new technologies to enable advanced safety features.

The Keysight C-V2X toolset offers:

  • Compliance with 3GPP, Release 14 specifications.
  • An intuitive user interface to simplify C-V2X measurements (protocol and RF).
  • A global navigation satellite system (GNSS) emulator to generate signals for realistic GNSS.
  • A 5G NR measurement platform to protect initial investments and accelerate deployment of the new technologies that will enable advanced safety features.
  • A foundation for C-V2X conformance testing.

Apart from this, Keysight’s automotive Ethernet offers solutions for compliance testing of receivers, harness and connectors, and transmitters. Further, Keysight’s new electronic control unit (ECU) test application covers all four of the standards that govern the automotive Ethernet platform, namely, BroadR-Reach, IEEE 100BASE-T1, IEEE1000BASE-T1 and the One-Pair Ether net (OPEN) ECU specifications. The new software also includes coverage for the media-dependent-interface mode, conversion loss, and the common mode emission tests set by the OPEN Alliance automotive Ethernet TC8 ECU test specification.
