Bangalore-based telecom products manufacturer, Kavveri Telecom has acquired US-based WPCS International?s wireless communications division, say news reports.

The acquisition was undertaken through Kavveri Technologies America Inc., the US-based subsidiary of Kavveri Telecom. The acquisition will help Kavveri expand its current product portfolio by adding a range of wireless systems solutions. Currently, the company manufactures products such as tower antennas, radio frequency (RF) components and repeaters.

The wireless communications division of  WPCS International provides Wi-Fi and Wi-Max systems for wireless communication. These systems help in connecting companies? assets, data and other information with other devices. The company also manages wireless networks assets such as cell sites.

WPCS International has operations in Lakewood, New Jersey and Hartford in Connecticut.
