The Delhi High Court has granted bail to Kanimozhi, Karim Morani, R. Aggarwal, Sharad Kumar and Asif Balwa, all indicted in the 2G spectrum case. The bail request of Siddharth Behura, former secetary, Department of Telecommunications, however, was rejected.
Prior to this, on November 25, 2011, the Delhi High Court had adjourned the hearing of the bail requests of the aforementioned individuals.
Kanimozhi and the others had requested the High Court for an expeditious hearing of their appeals, following the Supreme Court granting bail to the other five individuals also indicted in the case.
