The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has established six advisory committees comprising industry stakeholders.. In addition to equipment manufacturers, the advisory committees include representatives from telecom service providers, internet service providers, infrastructure providers, and experts from the telecom electronics ecosystem, satellite communications ecosystem, and academia. These six advisory committees are designed to include members from companies that are integral to the Indian communication sector, thereby fostering collaboration and innovation within the industry.
