Juniper Networks has posted its revenues for the fourth quarter of 2012, say news reports. The company has registered a 2 per cent increase in revenues, at $1.141 billion.
Net income stood at $96 million for the period under consideration, while the company?s full year revenue for 2012 declined by 2 per cent to $4.365 billion.
Its net income was $187 million for the year ended December 31, 2012. During the fourth quarter, Juniper Networks completed the acquisition of Contrail Systems for $176 million in cash and equity.
Capital expenditures during the fourth quarter of 2012 were $92 million and $49 million, respectively. The 31 per cent increase in capital expenditures for the full year was primarily due to the build out of the company?s campus in California.
Juniper estimates its revenue for the first quarter ending March 31, 2013 to be in the range of $1,050 million to $1,070 million.
