Jio to pay Rs 78.64 billion to DoT towards its second instalment for 5G spectrum

Reliance Jio Infocomm will reportedly pay Rs 78.64 billion to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) this week, towards its second instalment of 5G spectrum as the company aims at rolling out its next-generation mobile broadband pan-India by the end of 2023.

As per industry sources, the deadline for the second instalment is August 17, 2023.
