Reliance Jio’s net profit has grown by 62.5 per cent from Rs 8.31 billion during quarter ended December 2018 to Rs 13.50 billion during corresponding quarter in 2019. The standalone revenue from operations, including access revenues grew from Rs 108.84 billion to Rs 139.68 billion.
Meanwhile, the standalone EBITDA stood at Rs 56.01 billion during the quarter under consideration and the EBITDA margin stood at 40.1 per cent.
AGR related dues were taken into account as exceptional item (expense) during the quarter and stood at Rs 1.77 billion.
Subscriber base as on December 31, 2019 stood at 370.0 million. Meanwhile, the ARPU stood at Rs 128.4 per subscriber per month. The ARPU has risen after successive declines over last seven quarters as the company started charging 6 paise per minute for calls made to the networks of other telcos.
The total wireless data traffic during the quarter stood at 12.08 billion GB, while the total voice traffic during the quarter stood at 826.40 billion minutes.
