Jio Platforms Limited (JPL) has appointed Dan Bailey as president, where he will lead the company’s international business initiatives. Bailey will also become a member of JPL’s executive committee and contribute across the broader business.
During his career, he has held senior leadership roles at Schroders, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and HSBC. Most recently, he served as chairman of Deutsche Bank’s telecom, media and technology practice. Over the course of his career, Bailey has advised several global corporations and financial sponsors on major transactions, including some of the telecom industry’s largest deals.
