Reliance Jio, in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has launched unified payment interface (UPI) autopay feature for its prepaid and postpaid customers.
With this launch, Jio becomes the first telecom company to offer this feature on its MyJio application. The ‘UPI Autopay’ feature will allow Jio customers to set standing instructions using the MyJio app for auto-recharge, making the recharging and bill payment process hassle-free.
‘UPI Autopay’ users will no longer require to enter UPI security pin for recharge amounts of up to Rs 5,000. Users can also create, modify as well as remove the e-mandate for the tariff plans as per their requirements through UPI Autopay.
