Reliance Jio has announced the launch of Jio prepaid plans with a bundled Netflix subscription. A Netflix subscription is already available on select Jio Postpaid and Jio Fiber plans, but this is the first time that a Netflix subscription will be available on a prepaid plan. With this launch, over 400 million Jio prepaid customers will get the option of availing a Netflix subscription through a Jio Prepaid bundled plan.
Commenting on the launch, Kiran Thomas, chief executive officer (CEO), Jio Platforms Limited, said, “We are committed to bringing world class services to our users. The launch of Netflix bundles with our prepaid plan is yet another step to demonstrate our resolve. Our partnership with global partners like Netflix has grown in strength and together we are creating use cases for rest of the world to follow”.

Earlier this year, Netflix announced a slate of exciting Tamil and Telugu language films including Beast, Godfather, Dhamaka, Love Today, Major, Dasara and Virupaksham.
The Rs 1,099 plan will offer Netflix subscription for mobile, along with unlimited 5G data with Jio Welcome Offer for 84 days. Users can use up to 2 GB of data per day, and will have access to unlimited voice calls. Meanwhile, the Rs 1,499 plan bundles Netflix for large screen, along with 3 GB of data usage per day. The pack will come with the same Jio Welcome Offer and unlimited 5G data, and will be valid for 84 days as well.
