Jio Haptik has launched a WhatsApp chatbot that would assist users in requesting 5G connections based on the compatibility of their device and geographical proximity. The chatbot provides personalisation in the form of dynamic menu options based on user type (postpaid and prepaid), device, location, and outage management through pin code, among others.

Jio will make use of Haptik’s proactive messaging features to proactively reach out to and connect with new and existing users about the launch of 5G services in order to boost 5G network adoption.

According to Haptik, the solution aims to cater to the needs of 500 million customers who will be migrating to Jio True 5G, at every step starting from eligibility check and lead collection to sim delivery and post-sales support.
