Reliance Jio has expanded the reach of its 4G voice and data services in Ladakh region to Spangmik village, located in the vicinity of Pangong Lake. Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Lok Sabha member from Ladakh inaugurated the Jio mobile tower at Spangmik village.
With this, Jio has become the first telecom operator to provide 4G mobile connectivity in and around the Pangong area. The launch of the mobile network in the area has been a long pending demand of the locals.
