Jio has announced new prepaid tariff plans. The new tariff rates comes with up to 21 per cent hike in the existing rates. The new tariff will come into effect from December 1, 2021.

The tariff hikes entail JioPhone Plan, unlimited plans, and data add on, and range between 19.6 per cent and 21.3 per cent.

Under the revised tariffs, the base Rs 129 plan will now cost Rs 155 which will offer unlimited voice, 300 SMS and 2 GB data per month with validity of 28 days. The Rs 149 prepaid plan will cost Rs 179 offering 1 GB internet data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 24 days.

Meanwhile, the JioPhone plan, which costed Rs 75 is now revised to Rs 91, offering 3 GB data per month, unlimited voice calling and 50 SMS with validity of 28 days.

The high-end plan of Rs 2,399 has been revised to Rs 2,879 providing 2 GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day for 365 days.

Also, the data add-ons have also been revised with Rs 51, Rs 101 and Rs 251 add-ons costing Rs 61, Rs 121 and Rs 301 offering 6 GB, 12 GB and 51 GB respectively.
