According to the head of strategy, Reliance Jio, the company has developed premium 5G services based on its indigenous technology stack and will launch them after ensuring regulatory compliance.

As per him, Jio remains the only telecom operator in India with a standalone (SA) 5G network, which enables network slicing to support multiple high-performance, service-level agreement (SLA)-based use cases for both consumers and enterprises.

While telecom operators view network slicing as key to monetising 5G, some experts have raised concerns about its implications for net neutrality.

He further mentioned that the company is also focusing on expanding its enterprise customer base, where demand for managed services alongside connectivity is rising. Its cloud PC solution, JioPC, offered in partnership with software-as-a-service providers, is witnessing increasing adoption among small and medium enterprises.
