Japanese mobile carrier, NTT DoCoMo has reported its worst January subscriber figures since it first launched service. The company gained only 7,000 customers during the month after losing thousands of customers to its rival mobile operator, KDDI. In order to battle this, the company intends to introduce a range of new products, including mobile handsets equipped with televisions, expected to be launched by spring 2007. NTT is also investing heavily in improving its 3G network.
