Iraq’s Asiacell has entered into a strategic partnership with AMWAL, a consortium of Iraqi banks, for the provision of mobile banking services in the country. This will enable Asiacell’s prepaid customers with an account with any of Amwal Banking & Financial Solutions’ member banks, to use their mobile phones for a variety of financial transactions, including the transfer of money to other accounts and the checking of bank balances.
