Domestic handset manufacturer Intex Technologies has appointed Yashpal Soni as chief information officer (CIO). In this role, Soni will be responsible for aligning the company’s IT strategy with its business strategy, implementing enterprise resource planning, business process re-engineering and IT risk management. Soni has over 20 years of industry experience ac­ross electronic manufacturing, utilities, services and research and development companies in India, the UK and Australia. He is also a member of the CIO Association of India.
