Intel is planning to invest in one or more Indian telecom operators that roll out Wi-Max services. The company could pick up stake in the companies that win the spectrum auctions. The chip manufacturer has already invested in several Indian organisations that make hardware and software applications compatible with the Wi-Max platform.
