Intel has appointed Naga Chandrasekaran as its new global operations officer, with effect from August 12, 2024, succeeding Keyvan Esfarjani, who has retired after a 30-year tenure with the company.

Chandrasekaran will also take on the roles of executive vice president and general manager of the Intel Foundry Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Further, Chandrasekaran will be responsible for Intel Foundry’s worldwide manufacturing operations, including Fab Sort manufacturing, assembly test manufacturing, strategic planning for Intel Foundry, corporate quality assurance and supply chain
