Bangalore-based mobile advertising network, InMobi has set up a $25 million (Rs 1.50 billion) fund for supporting independent game developers. The move is in part of its ?monetisation solution for games? initiative which will allow the company to partner with gaming developers and help them increase their revenue from application offerings.

The monetization solutions will enable game developers to optimise their advertising strategies based on the different difficult levels of the game. The solution offers a full range of ad formats that include playable advertisements, developed in partnership with application virtualisation company Voxel, these offer 20 to 40 second interactive advertisements, where users can test drive the game being advertised from within the original game.

InMobi will also provide advisory services to the game developers which will include global scaling, monetisation, and advertisement experience creation to developers who enroll through 2014.
