Infosys has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Denmark-based life sciences technology and consulting firm, BASE life science, for up to €110 million in an all-cash deal in Europe.
As per Infosys’ exchange filing, the acquisition is aimed at deepening the company’s life sciences domain capabilities and strengthening its footprint across Europe. The acquisition will help global life sciences companies realise business value from cloud-first digital platforms and data, to speed up clinical trials, scale drug development and achieve better health outcomes.
The acquisition is expected to close during the second quarter of fiscal 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.
