Indus Towers has installed 180 new towers in Prayagraj to improve connectivity during the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. The company collaborated with the government of Uttar Pradesh and the District Administration to provide seamless communication for both pilgrims and residents throughout the event.

The deployment includes 110 permanent towers designed to offer long-term connectivity within Prayagraj, alongside 70 cells on wheels (CoW) towers strategically placed in critical areas of the Mela grounds. This project was completed by the end of December 2024, ensuring robust network coverage during the festival.

Indus Towers highlighted that this digital infrastructure will not only facilitate communication during the Mela but will also bolster Prayagraj’s network capabilities for future needs.
