Indonesia’s Telkom is planning to issue a rupiah-denominated bond worth $214 million by June 2010 to help finance its capital expenditure (capex) plans for this year which is estimate to reach $2 billion.diture (capex) plans for this year which is estimated to reach $2 billion. It is currently in the process of selecting underwriters for the bond issue and is in talks with more than six securities firms. The selection process is likely to be concluded by early 2010. Telkom intends to allocate 70 per cent of this capex to Telkomsel, Telkom’s cellular business subsidiary.
