Indonesian telecom operator PT Telekomunikasi (Telkom) is planning to launch internet protocol TV (IPTV) services in October 2009. The operator has secured $265 million in loans for funding of its capex projects which include expansion of broadband services and IPTV deployment. Telkom’s planned capex for 2009-10 is $2.1 billion, of which 70 per cent is to be sourced internally and the rest through bank loans.
