According to Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa of India, India’s digital public infrastructure, with open standards, open application programming interface and interoperability as its fulcrum to facilitate easier adoptions, can potentially benefit the developing world.

In his inaugural address at the G20 Sherpa Meeting, Kant highlighted the success of Indian stack such as Aadhar, Co-Win, DigiLocker, UPI, and Bhashini, and their potential benefit for the world. He added that digital public infrastructure has a crucial role in providing inclusive access to public services effectively and efficiently.
