India’s 5G base transceiver stations (BTS) count has reached 0.46 million in October 2024, up from the 0.45 million in July 2024. The telcos took four months to add 10,000 sites.
As per the data, the 5G BTS count was 0.3 million for the same period last year, showing a significant year-on-year growth.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh ranks highest in 5G BTS among all states, with 51,896 available BTS.
