According to Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) since service operators are facing financial pressures     the telecom industry will register a flat growth in 2013.

As per NSN strong growth rates appear to be a difficult proposition for the telecom operators. To strengthen their financial positions the operators are taking measures like network sharing.

Further, the industry will witness significant investments in 3G and the growth in the sector would largely be driven by mobile broadband. To drive its business in the country, NSN would be focusing on becoming a product driven mobile broadband company. The company plans to invest heavily in research and development to provide innovative solutions to support mobile broadband services. Further, NSN is working on technologies which will help CDMA operators to move to long-term-evolution platform.
