According to Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Union Minister of Communications and Development of the North Eastern Region, a global telecommunications revolution is underway, with India positioned at the forefront under the current government’s leadership.
On the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, observed on May 17, 2025, the minister emphasised that India will play a leading role in formulating regulations for 6G technology in the coming years.
