As per the latest data by Ookla, India has jumped eight spots in the global ranking of median mobile download speeds. India moved from 113th rank in October 2022 to 105th in November 2022. On the other hand, it slipped one rank in the median fixed broadband speeds.
The country saw an improvement in median mobile download speeds from 16.5 Mbps in October 2022 to 18.26 Mbps in November 2022. The overall fixed median download speeds witnessed only a slight increase from 48.78 Mbps in October 2022 to 49.09 Mbps in November 2022.
Further, India’s global ranking on overall median fixed download speeds decreased by one rank. It was at 79th position in October 2022 which later came to 80th position in November 2022.
