As per industry sources, India and Russia are exploring a joint venture for the development of IT and related products for third country exports.
Governments of the two countries have also reportedly discussed collaborating in the field of digital technology, AI, blockchain, machine learning, 5G and cyber security.
Any future collaboration in this regard would seek to leverage the complementary strengths of the two countries.
This matter was discussed at a recent meeting held between Ajay Sawhney, secretary, MeitY and Mikhail Mamonov, deputy minister of digital development, communications and mass media of the Russian Federation
