In view of the delay by the Delhi High Court to adjudicate on the Cellular Operators Association of India’s (COAI) petition challenging DoT’s policies on spectrum allocation to new licensees and cross-over technology, TDSAT has decided to go ahead with the final hearing on the issue. This move reverses TDSAT’s earlier stand, of February 2008, when it had stated that it would wait for the final order of the high court, which had reserved its judgment on the writ petition filed by COAI.
