Pataa Navigations and Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Through the MoU, the alliance aims to cater to ISRO portals – Bhuvan, VEDAS and MOSDAC. The two parties seek to evolve indigenous addressing solutions through the exchange of satellite imagery/maps and address system.

The collaboration is aimed at benefitting geo boundaries, leading to benefits for rural India by increasing the availability of loan, seed, tech facilities, etc. to its population. Besides, last-mile reach for e-commerce, loan facilities, and quicker ambulance services will be made available for all. The absence of an addressing system costs India Rs 750 billion annually, as per a press release from Pataa. The company has developed a mobile application to enable users to create unique customised codes for long addresses, combined with features such as voice directions, precise geotagged location, route suggestions, photos and others.
