In one of the largest loan syndications by an Indian firm from the overseas market, Essar plans to raise $4.5 billion. The loan, which will have a five-year tenor, will be arranged by BNP Paribas, Citibank, Standard Chartered, ING, Royal Bank of Scotland and UBS.
