The Indian Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) has announced its new executive council after the completion of its annual executive council elections. Sanjay Gupta, president and chief executive officer, Spark Minda, has been appointed as the chairperson for 2023-24. Meanwhile, V Veerappan, co-founder and president of Tessolve, will be taking the office of the vice chairman, and Sudhir Naik, founder and advisor of EInfoChips Ahmedabad, will assume the duties of the treasurer.

The newly elected members of IESA’s executive council are Anku Jain, managing director, MediaTek, and Hitesh Garg, India country manager, NXP. The other members include Ashok Mishra of Reliance Jio, and Manoj Kumar, director, Innovation and Partnerships, STMicro.

The new council will be responsible for setting the direction of the organisation, developing strategic initiatives, and driving growth across the electronics and semiconductor industry in India.
