Idea Cellular will invest Rs 5.8 billion in its NLD operations during fiscal year 2007-08. The company is close to finalising contracts with equipment vendors such as Ericsson, Siemens and AlcatelLucent for its NLD network rollout. The rollout is expected to be completed by March 2008. Idea Cellular will also invest $2 billion in the next two years to expand its network.
