Idea Cellular reportedly plans to invest Rs 40 billion in the current financial year to expand its network coverage in its existing circles and enter new circles. The company will also offer international roaming services to prepaid customers in three-four months. With the aim of investing in both 3G and Wi-Max, it is planning to also apply for an international long distance (ILD) licence. Simultaneously, it is conducting indoor Wi-Max trials in Bangalore, Kochi and Pune.
