Idea Cellular has introduced the ID 91 smartphone in the Indian market. The device is priced at Rs 5,994.
The handset runs on the Android 2.3 operating system and packs in a 3.2-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel rear camera, 150 MB internal memory, 512 MB RAM and supports dual SIM cards.
Idea is also offering voice and data benefits worth Rs 2,340 with the device. 48?72 hours after recharge and making the first call from the smartphone, users can avail of 2 GB data of per month for three months. Post this, data downloads will be priced at Re 0.05 per 10 KB. Users will also be able to access Idea TV for three months after purchasing the handset.
