Idea Cellular has launched its gold standard 3G services in the Jammu and Kashmir circle.

The operator will initially offer 3G services in Srinagar and Udhampur and will thereafter cover other major locations in the region.

Speaking on the launch, Lakshminarayana, chief operating officer, corporate, Idea Cellular, said, ?We are happy to introduce our 3G services in the Himalayan state of Jammu and Kashmir. With this, Idea Cellular?s national 3G footprint now covers over 1,600 towns across 20 circles.
