According to mobile number portability (MNP) data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Idea Cellular has overtaken Vodafone Essar, albeit marginally , to gain the top spot. Idea clocked net gains of 6,39,060, while Vodafone registered gains of 6,33,589 customers since MNP was rolled out in January this year.
Meanwhile, Bharti airtel maintained third place with net gains of 6,02,328 subscribers while Aircel stood at the fourth spot with gains of 81,179 subscribers.
