As enterprises across verticals adopt digital technologies, legacy technologies are proving to be inadequate. Enterprises have therefore realised the need to build a reliable and secure core technology infrastructure, which is agile as well as flexible. Amongst various business verticals, retail and consumer segments particularly, are evolving significantly as consumer demographics undergo a change, new delivery platforms emerge and buying preferences vary. In order to match this evolution and promote digital transformation, organisations are exploring information and communication technology (ICT) solutions to alter their underlying infrastructure and application environment to derive business benefits and efficiencies.
