iBus networks has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with iWire to build an internet of things (IoT) ecosystem in the asset tracking market. iWire is an IoT solution company.
The partnership is aimed at building infrastructure for the mass deployment of IoT solution and cooperate in offering IoT end-to-end solutions using different connectivity technologies.
In the first phase, iBus and iWire will collaborate in the development of the business of IoT using both sigfox terrestrial connectivity and iBus digital infrastructure for offering ubiquitous IoT end-to-end solution.
The companies also intend to explore business opportunities and may consider deploying the infrastructure for IoT communication services.
Further, iBus will primarily focus on designing and developing the indoor and outdoor infrastructure whereas iWire will be the exclusive IoT solution provider.
