Hutchison Essar and Microsoft have formed an alliance to offer mobile search and other “Windows Live” services to Hutch subscribers. Under this, mobile content and information would be accessible through an integrated search platform powered by Windows Live Search. Search for local business listings and services would also soon be possible across major Indian cities.
Meanwhile, Hutchison Essar, Bharti Airtel and RCL are set to launch mobile video streaming services to enable video play directly on mobile phones without being downloaded.
